Seiki
Seiki is the name that Kishi Sensei gives to his expression of Ki Therapy rooted in the Shiatsu tradition. It is also a 'Way' for personal growth.
Human bodies have a natural capacity
to move towards health and balance.
When this capacity is weakened
we become a shadow to ourselves.
Seiki respects & works with this innate ability.
And we regain our original vitality and health.
The focus of Seiki is on allowing and working with the natural inner movement towards health and balance, enhancing the ability of the individual to engage with life and employ their personal talents more fully.
Kishi Sensei encourages practitioners to dispense with learned techniques of treatment and meet their clients in the moment, with 'no-mind' which allows the natural intelligence in the bodies, in the 'Ki' that is present in that meeting to guide the session spontaneously.
If Hara is acquired Kokoro will respond.
Hara manifests with Kokoro,
Kokoro manifests with Hara.
Seiki is a 'Way' or 'Path' in which the practitioner works towards achieving harmony and balance within their own body-mind. As the hara achieves fullness this naturally manifests in 'kokoro' or compassion when working with others. The Ki and the Heart are no longer two.
Kishi generously shares his way of working with others and one can imitate it to good effect while learning, but ultimately it is his way.
The journey of the practitioner is to discover ones own therapeutic self expression, ones own 'Way', which manifests spontaneously when one truly meets the other in compassion.

Poulstone Court
The workshop will be held at the beautiful location of Poulstone Court, Herefordshire.
It will be largely hands on, with opportunities to ask questions and is open to Shiatsu practitioners at all stages in their career.
Other health professionals are also welcome as are individuals simply interested in their personal health and spiritual journey.
